Cell Phone Policy
Union Public Schools has implemented a new "Bell to Bell, No Cell" policy.
In 2025, the Oklahoma legislature passed Senate Bill 139 mandating that cell phones and all personal electronic devices be prohibited from the first bell to the last bell of the school day.
Students will be reminded to power off their devices and put them away. Disciplinary procedures are in place for students who fail to meet this expectation. Parents who need to contact their student during the school day may call the main school office and a message will be delivered.
